Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce J. Kaplan announced on June 2 that a teacher who resides in Howell and most recently taught in Old Bridge pleaded guilty before state Superior Court Judge Frederick P. DeVesa in New Brunswick to a fourth-degree count of cruelty and neglect stemming from a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male high school student.

According to a press release, Lisa Glide, 35, of Howell, waived her right to a presentation before a grand jury and pleaded guilty to the fourth-degree accusation. The judge is scheduled to impose the sentence on Glide on Aug. 10.
