PharmParty: Drug arrests at Holland Patent High School

HOLLAND PATENT — A Holland Patent high school student has been accused of selling pills to another student last Friday.

Michael J. Amberg, 17, of Floyd, was arrested on a felony charge of fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance after he gave 44 Methylphenidate (Ritalin) pills to another student, Dakota J. Safin, 16, of Trenton, while on school property, according to Deputy Daniel Brown of the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.

Safin was charged with misdemeanor seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after he was found to be in possession of the pills.
