No surprise at all that Jared Polis, open congresshomo out of Colorado, would care about making publik skool lunches greener, as though the food was anywhere near the top of the list of problems plaguing the system. If the publik skool system was the Titanic, Polis would be in the galley, apron on, making veggie burgers and serving tossed salads with lite-in-the-loafers dressing. Polis' swell idea will only cost us $50million, a mere pittance for someone who grew up in Boulder with a silver spoon in his mouth. However, Polis is more than HIV positive that the subsequent reduction in health care costs due to improvements in children's health will "more than offset" the $50mil price tag.
Yeah, right. Anyone who'll believe that voted for this limp wrist.
