Century student charged with bomb threat

A Century High School senior has been charged with writing bomb threat #7 for the school year at Century High. Sounds like that's an ongoing problem the school has failed to address correctly. What are they waiting for, an actual bomb?

Carroll County Times -- June 4, 2009

Christina Ann Lilley, 18, of the 6200 block of Meadowcroft Road in Sykesville, was issued a summons Tuesday for arson threat and disturbing the operation of a school, although, according to court documents, a Maryland State Police forensic document examiner was unable to reach a definitive conclusion linking Lilley’s handwriting to the threat written on a school restroom wall.

The threat was discovered by a student May 8 on a wall in a restroom at the school and reported to school administrators, who called state police.

It was the seventh bomb threat at Century this school year, said Larry Faries, coordinator of school security for Carroll County Public Schools.
